Dodona was an important city-sanctuary in ancient Greece, famous for having the oldest oracle.
Located in the region of Epirus at the foot of Mount Tomaros, this sanctuary was surpassed in prestige only by the oracle of Delphi.
Among the ruins preserved to this day are a theater, a stadium, the foundations of temples, and other public buildings.
